호세 펠리티아노는 1945년 9월 8일,

중남미 푸에토리코의 힐타운에서

스페인계 미국인의 아들로 태어났지요.

 

그는 선천적 맹인으로

스티비 원더, 레이찰스와 함께

트로이카를 형성하는 가수입니다.

 

그는 어린 시절부터 기타 연주에 몰입하여

1968년도에 앨범을 발매하면서 팝계에 등장했는데

2개의 그래미상과 32개의 골드 레코드를 보유하고 있는

세계적인 슈퍼스타이지요.

 

이 노래는 1970년대 초반에 발표한 노래로

떨어지는 빗소리를 들으며

사랑하는 사람에게 마음을 전한다는 내용입니다.
